I went to the store and he had this first pressing. The paper sleeve is pristine for it's age. Sounds pretty damn good. Thanks for the inspiration to go look, drice. This one's for your Dad, solar.   |

I passed on this a few times. I'm not sure why. First pressing, very good+, ah yeah. It's gotta be a digital source, right? It still sounds great. Like the most/best digital sounding vinyl I own, probably. I don't know. Good buy.  |

Did anyone else pre-order Without a net? It may still be available through amazon for $69. I had to jump all over it, one of my most sought after records that I just could never pull the gun on because all the copies i found were well over $100. It's supposed to be released in November and I cannot wait to get it. I also am waiting on DMB - Before these crowded streets which is my favorite Dave album and would be my 2nd album of his to add to my collection. Still need to get "Stop Making Sense" but i'll probably wait until the holidays for that one. I grabbed a Without A Net at lunch. Will report back. |

Just saw my local record store will have a few copies of Without A Net tomorrow. I guess A Go Go got (re?)pressed and that drops tomorrow as well. Lots of temptation to go spend lots of money

I did not end up going today… I don’t gamble much except in vinyl waffle groups on Facebook lol. Have won some great wax doing so though! |

But we just moved our record player into our kitchen/living room so it's gonna get used a ton more. Kids have officially taken over the basement like a bad disease |

I wish I knew how to post pictures. Probably just too lazy to learn.
Yesterday Without a Net came in the mail. we just decided to move our nice sound system and record player in our Kitchen/living room. I set everything up and since time was limited I immediately put on Side E which was the Help>Slip>Frank
Once Franklins tower came on i was overcome with emotion. I started crying my eyes out. Tears of absolute happiness and bliss. Without a net was the first live album (i know it's a compilation) that I remember listening to all the time as I was getting into the dead (Fillmore 69 in close second). So many memories at my buddies house who was built on the Dead, telling me all the stories as we listened to the songs. Just made me so happy to be listening to on vinyle. Without a Net was my white whale, I have hundreds, if not thousands, of albums that i would love to add to my collection but after acquiring this one I feel as if it has all come full circle. So happy!
