We carved up last night. Only 2. Playlist was Phish- Chilling, Thrilling Sounds through Shipwreck, some Coldplay per Zboi, and Thriller. My wife got kinda pissed at one of the songs my son played by Coldplay. Do you think this song is acceptable for a 13 year old to jam to?
I though the song and video were great.

My wife got kinda pissed at one of the songs my son played by Coldplay. Do you think this song is acceptable for a 13 year old to jam to? I though the song and video were great. Seems pretty anodyne to me. I'm guessing she was objecting to the lyrics about being drunk and high, which aren't actually suggesting alcohol and drug use. I was listening to Eddie Murphy:Comedian at his age, there is a lot of worse stuff out there. |

I remember when my buddy played Best of Compton Mix , ez e Boyz n the hood came on
And I instantly thought, damn...what's this???
Mama DPB always said, you can listen to pretty much whatever you want , long as you don't repeat some of those songs lyrics in inappropriate places
She was and is cool like that
