This is the most I’ve heard about either in years. Aren’t they just raising kids now? Feels like Bad Moms is the last thing I remember from Mila and shit, Kutcher has to go back to that mediocre Brittany Murphy rom-com. I am sure there has been other things I suppose.

I wrote a character letter to a judge for an old friend that went to prison for child porn. He asked and I agreed but it wasn't that great of a reference. I just wrote about he needs treatment and punishment.
I decided that was the last thing I would do for him and cut ties. He did like 3 years and is out but I'm no contact
So I get writing a letter for sentencing but you don't have to call them a good person. Or continue to after the facts

It’s also pretty obnoxious how people are so quick to get their pitchforks. He’s going to prison. That’s what matters. Seriously. Fewer than 10% of rapes end in convictions- any time a person serves time in jail for rape is a statistical win. Gotta save those pitchforks for rapists not in jail. |

It took a long time because of fucked up Scientology shit/LAPD corruption. Hopefully this will happen to more rapists in areas without hopelessly corrupt Republican judges... |

Or continue to after the facts I wrote a letter addressed to the judge for a friend that was facing 7 yrs in prison for drug shit and he served 4 months and he said it was the letter that saved his ass. It was very well crafted about his ethics and moral character and how saddened I was to hear of his incarceration and how upon his release he will be a productive member of society etc. When I presented the letter to his girlfriend she cried and said it was the most thoughtful thing anyone had ever done for him. Point is these letters requesting leniency can work wonders to an open minded judge. Rapists and diddlers need not apply. |
