I have literally never been in the front row for a show ever before (very few that I go to even have one). The fact that we got them face instead of a scalper grabbing them just blows my mind.

I really need to figure something out for Indy. Im supposed to be up north the following weekend for a Dads day baseball game too. might need to take a 10 day vacay to get it all figured out...

Im going to end up driving 9ish hours for a single day fest set. I was having a hard time nailing down the right date though, I wonder who he will be scheduled up against. If it ends up being Mule, it might cause a rift in my marriage...

ohp its only a 6 hour drive, HOO RAY!
Just booked the hotel a block from a local joint with live music every friday and saturday night and another spot that could have tunes too!
Following week is Aiken Bluegrass, Live Music Mayhem in MAY!

i Wonder who Jack White will be scheduled against, would like to catch him if not against Byrne or Mule, not a lot I am particular about on rest of lineup, mostly just trying to his some of the local blues folks I dont know about during the day, Calexico and Tommy Castro

A friend of mine went to the Hershey Theatre show in March. He said it was unlike any concert he's ever been to before. Everything was wireless, the only thing on stage were the 12-person band and their instruments, all their moves were choreographed and synchronized, and they moved all around the place. He said it was really cool and he really enjoyed it. Shortly after that I caught them on Late Night w/ Steven Colbert and saw what he meant. They played a new song called Everybody's Coming To My House, and the choreographed moves were slower than you'd expect for the speed of the song, like they only moved on certain beats, or something. Watching them was kinda mesmerizing, I dug it. Kinda wish I'd have gone to the show, especially since I've never seen David Byrne live, but I wasn't really tuned in to the tour until after our show was sold out. Hey, found it!  |
