Not having kids I'm a bit curious; what's the consensus on the generally accepted age to explain pegging to your kids? Is it different for sons and daughters? I don't know about the rest of yinz, but no parental unit ever explained that to me. 12 year old me would probably have been equally freaked and fascinated that such a thing existed between men and women. Oh, all the interesting things that go on in the adult world...

Multiverse stuff is kind of bullshit but it's really well done in the comics were you don't have to worry as much about IP violations and actors salaries/schedules so you can establish all these different worlds quickly...

Well I went down a wormhole because my brother and his family went to see DP & W and they thought it sucked. So I asked him if he saw Loki and was familiar with TVA and he said no so I tried to explain it to him.

I saw dp and W on the giant imax screen yesterday. The sexual enuendos and f bombs wore a little thin by the end but I laughed my ass off through most of it. Tons of blood and crazy They Live length fights.
Language: bad
Movie: good

Amazing that Deadpool can kill the entire marvel universe in the comics and then resurrect the MCU on screen.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I am waiting to see if Gerg goes and what he thinks. He has been pretty consistent on a lackluster response to post Endgame Marvel. Maybe this one does something or maybe not. I love the Deadpool movies. I can't wait to see this movie, but will more than likely wait until it's available at home. I don't believe this movie saves the MCU and I don't believe, all of a sudden people are going to be flocking to the theaters again for superhero movies. That's not to say there won't be movies that do well in the box office, but I don't believe the popularity will ever be what it once was. I will stay consistent with this take, and I have read plenty of articles and seen plenty of social media comments that line up with my thoughts, the MCU has become way too oversaturated, people are burnt out on the same superhero storylines and now it has become so oversaturated that you can't even understand some of the movies without watching 4 other movies before that one. If you haven't noticed, Star Wars is also heading down this path, GOT will too, and Harry Potter. |
