What are you thinking about...right now? (cuarenta y dos 42)

There is a christian and catholic radical left with a long, honorable history in this country and elsewhere. If you take people's attacks on conservative evangelicals as some sort of overall attack on faith, there's some serious misunderstanding there.

Liberation theology is a great thing that I support. Look at PREACHER Martin Luther King Jr, look at Pope Francis, look at churches across this country opening their door to sanctuary for immigrants right now. And I've made clear that if atheists don't acknowledge these things, they have on ideological blinders on, which I believe they do anyway. At least the self proclaimed new atheist pundits.

At the same time that one can acknowledge the positives of liberation theology it's with the understanding Christianity's role in colonialism and all those bad things associated with it. The same people who were enslaved by it, by bad actors who had their own false interpretation of a religion, took it and used the same text to apply their own liberating interpretation.

But to think that great things aren't being done in the true spirit of the faith, and people are attacking that or belittling that it's just not true. Focus less on people criticizing Mike Pence and conservative evangelicals and focus more on the good work being done.
