Good morning Jambase! Happy Saturday! It’s a great weekend! 10am teeball game. Our team is called the Gators and we’re gonna devour those other dumb kids. The parent tunnel at the end is the best when the teams high 5 each other and the kids run under our joined hands and they usually circle around and run through it twice. How fun it is to be Riceboy!

Just woke up. Had to slip into my hidden identify role as tooth fairy (prob for last time) for a very special 9yo girl who still believes. Precious! Wow...9 years old and still believes in the tooth fairy. Berg probably won't make it past 6 with those thoughts....mainly because I'll probably slip up and tell her Santa and the Easter bunny are not real My wife babysits a brother and sister from time to time, the boy is 10 and the girl is 5 or 6. The boy still takes showers with his sister, both the wife and I find that very strange. She finds it even more strange that she needs to supervise their shower time, you'd think the boy would know how to clean himself without supervision by now. But the boy is kind of real strange. |

I got up at 8 and went and was the announcer for a 5k race. It took me only two hours beginning to end and they paid me 100 bux!
Now I got money to go to ATL this afternoon. My friends have left to play at top golf live for the afternoon. I am gonna take a nap and then head down to meet them there.. I can spend 2-3 hours there, but not half the day cuz if I did it would make that 100 bux go poof.
one of them has paid for a 5 star hotel in buckhead! They said I can stay free which is nice, but I will likely drive home as a I got my dog to deal with.

If that boy isn't mentally disabled, I can't think of a single reason why a mom would be monitoring a 10 year old's shower time. Tell your wife to ask her, ya know, out of curiousity as a parent interested in parenting techniques.

Thanksgiving decorations go up right after haloween, Christmas decorations go up, Valentine's, easter, all that shit. I'm not a big fan of the deception myself, then again I don't want to be the dick who let the monkey out of the bottle. One of my proudest accomplishments as a father is allowing and maintaining that level of innocence in both my kids. As opposed to the kids who come up fast and hard to the world by parents who don't seem to care telling their children its not real. The old smoke in the face, welcome to the party is just not my way of parenting. I'm trying to keep them as innocent as possible for as long as possible. Lord knows are already subjected to enough fuckery in this life without me helping to contribute to the fear mechanisms of life. They see and hear about plenty of terrible shit just by hearing adults discuss the 6 o'clock news. School shooting, corruption in everything ect ect. |

Had a good night out with my gf, ate dinner and went to 2 bars, out til last call. I got up at 8 and moved her car and when I got back she was up. We went out to breakfast and now she's about to leave and I can read and be lazy all day. Great day so far.

If I didn't hate school, I would major in marketing and minor in meteorology.
At some point this week folks were calling for 5-8 inches today (That's what she said). It's not even probably gonna rain. It was 65 yesterday.

I'm just saying my method of parenting (trying to maintain that natual innocence in children ) is not every parents method. Some people teach their children from a young age the hard cold truths of life. I say let the kids be kids for as long as possible doing my best to shield them from "real world".
