it sounds better to me... (personally) I'm also more interested in sound design than actually being able to play a guitar. For my purposes the fx pedals are more the instrument than the guitar is.
I'm also more of a keys> strings as far as "talent" goes. Even then I'm clicking quantize alot in post.

I cleaned out my storage space over the weekend so I could set everything up in there.

Anybody want that fish tank in the background?... There is still some boxes and stuff I'd like to get out of there so I can at least set up the floor tom and a ride. I'm limited on headroom clearance, so I'm not sure I'll be able to set up the full drum kit in there.

This looks like some shit I would do in a pinch Ground should have been wrapped around the rcas in the opposite direction so that gravity keeps it from falling of with vibrations. Other than that I think it will work.

I got Ableton Lite. Bout to rage So is that something you use to play through in real time or more like pro tools to record and produce? I'm assuming both.

Like protools. Its a "Digital Audio Workstation"

My interface also came with a the Protools intro version as well so I'm going to try that next. Ableton seems to be more for beats and midi workflow and I am under the impression Protools has a setup that is a bit easier to use with instruments. Perhaps EllisD has some experience?

I've never used protools, but was around it a lot and I bet you're going to love and prefer it.
