Pro Tools is already on two strikes with me... I'm jumping through hoops just to start rumming the program with proper account permissions and it's not working.

I remember the guys having lots of issues with it in the beginning too. This was 12 years ago and I don't think there were a lot of other good options for the mac at that time.

I'm considering getting my old pc going and possibly upgrading the OS and getting some software. It is still running vista 64... But it had more processing power than it could use at the time. It might be garbage now.

is that file i posted accessible? Yeah, it works. I had it pulled up last night and then forgot to listen. Nice work. I like the solo. The tone reminds me of J Mascis.

It's still pricey though.

Thanks! It came out fuzzy by accident. I was using a lead guitar amp preset with the gain cranked for sustain and the treble rolled off. I thought it would come out like marshall overdrive but it is quite Muff-like with the rest of the instruments in the mix.

That's a cool cab... it might fit one of my old heads.
I'm diving into all these software effects and looking at my massive analog collection wondering why the hell I didnt go digital sooner... I'm not ready to use a computer live though.

And mfers still want 70 bucks for the Brian May guitar plug-in
I'm still using a Ruby Overdrive as a preamp though before the guitar even hits the audio interface to the computer.

Gibson just bought Mesa/Boogie. Interesting I'm kind of in the fuck Gibson camp, well current company, because the lawsuits towards other companies. Reverend Volcano was not an infringement and they stopped production because it was cheaper and easier than going to court.

i pretty much feel the same way. i personally dont use Gibson because they are 24.75 scale and I prefer 25.5. I lowkey love SGs though...

I want one of those The Pauls that they made from 78-80 out of walnut. I'm not even sure why. I definitely dig the sgs too. A les paul studio from 10-15 years ago in worn cherry strikes me right, too.
