What's wrong with it? Scratchy pots?

Yeah. I'm going to play around with it tonight for a while before I take it apart. I can't remember how bad it was. It's not like I'm gigging it.

What's wrong with it? Scratchy pots? Actually, I think the problem might have been total human error. I've been running it at 9v and it needs 18v.

I think the new acoustisonics are kinda ugly... and I usually like the funky ones. Maybe the green one could be for me... but I'm not spending 2k for one so whatever

Actually, I think the problem might have been total human error. I've been running it at 9v and it needs 18v. aha! How does it sound now? I don't have an 18v adapter. I've been wanting some kind of brick that will provide 12v and 18v. So, I bought this one. I can get rid of a couple daisy chains. The Algal Bloom can run at 12v for more headroom, as well. reverb.com/item/39461256-walrus-audio-phoenix?show_sold=true

Noice. I use a one spot CS-12. It does the trick. I kinda got it for the same thing - running a Pigtronix bass Compressor at 18v.

Also I thought it might reduce noise like popping of switches with isolated power but it doesn't really seem to do that. I think it helps with noise and buffered pedals, but the switch popping for me is a constant issue. I have to try and time my clicks with the drummer so it's not noticeable

So I posted my bluegrass tune in the Jeff Austin thread, I did some poppy indie rock stuff or whatever you want to call it. I think my next recording challenge is going to be a rap track where I sneak in a Big Muff
