it has an electric pickup and a piezo electric pickup and a blend knob so they say there are 10 tonal combinations. very cool. some very interesting tones and not as ugly when you get the full look at it. That first tune he plays is Freight Train, which I know from Jerry and Grisman’s Not For Kids Only album. |

I'd been considering a tremelo pedal. Maybe an EQD Nightwire or Walrus Monument. I came across these and they sound rad. 7 different wave forms and the ramp function sounds cool.

I use the Moog mini trem and it's awesome but unfortunately out of production. I use an expression pedal for sweeping the speed - one of my favorite effects. If it didnt have that I would probably try and find one with tap tempo

I got the board set up with the new power supply. The Philosopher's Twin sounds awesome now that it is getting the appropriate 18v. There is a slight scratch when adjusting the sustain, but not a big deal and I figure that it could be normal. Love the "grit" which is the 4558 chip. It freaking sings.

It's a little silly, but thanks. I picked up that PiggyFX Oinkomp and that Catalinbread Super Chili Pocoso in the past few weeks. I couldn't find much on the Oinkomp, but what I could find spoke highly. Cool ross comp circuit built in Isreal in 2010. $125. I dig it. The Super Chili is just what is. An awesome little boost, so I put that one at the end of the chain. $60. A looper will allow me to separate the ods and fuzzes in groups I use together. I'm only typically using one or two at a time.

My buddy who has been saying he wants to get an electric guitar so we can jam told me last night that he would not be buying a guitar. He and his wife had a baby last year and jamming is no longer a priority. I'm not upset and don't blame him, but I'm a little bummed.

The cords aren't too bad, I guess. Everything is packed into a pretty small area, though.
