I also like the analog functionality and the fact that I can experiment with running into some effects pedals like phaser and delay. I love the volcas for what they do and the price. I got the FM and the Kick love them both. And yeah that FM comes alive with a good reverb on it. I've been eyeing up the behringer RD-6. Sweetwater is practically giving away them if you dont mind weird colors. It has some cool features such as individual outs for each drum if you want.

Do you remember when I posted pics of the inside of the Haymakers and wondered what the trim pot is for? Well, I wondered what it even was because it says "don't even think about it" right next to it. Turns out they are for clean blend. Turns out Philippe was just having a little fun. I haven't messed with one yet, but the silver one I got recently has the clean turned up more, I think. It sounds the best out of the 3 I have. The clean signal blended in is really what gives the klons their sounds, right? I'm surprised more builders don't use this feature. I wish the trim pots were pots with external knobs. That would make it a lot easier.

dang I might have to check out of those... he like the same config I do. Ashtray bridge cutaway for palm muting, Strat like neck pickup, rosewood board. My bridge pickup is very bright so I might have to try one of the staggered pole pickups.

So... What happens if you run a trs cable into the input of a micro terror? I'm curious if it is possible to connect a line mixer with one of the main outs into the input of a guitar amp. Yes, I know... Sounds dumb. I just need someone to tell me not to. Google keeps reversing my question and telling me how to connect a guitar amp to a line mixer instead.

Probably nothing. the ring wont be connected to anything, or it will get grounded like the sleeve, or best case it will accept both signals and sum them together. However, DO NOT connect the main output to the amp if it is supposed to go directly to a speaker. It needs to be a LINE OUT meant to go to an amplifier, not a speaker out.

This is the connection I needed. It would be one of the two main outs and not a line out on the mixer in question. Thanks!

So... In that case would the 1/4 phone out on the mixer work in place as a line out? It seems like the same principle as running the korg 1/8 phone out to the micro terror if you used a ts cable.

The rd-6 does look like something I could play around with. It has that scale function switch, so you aren't limited to just 4/4. I'm going to check out some demos later.

I kind of expect the signal to sound kind of shitty coming out the guitar speaker, because it's meant for guitar sounds. The times I've run my phone into the 1/8 aux it sounds flat.
