That is a controller keyboard, it doesn't actually make any sound by itself. That keyboard would act as your "hub" between all of your other synthesizers, drum machines, and computer I think this + ableton would get me started I have the arturia keylab which is basically the same thing. I went with arturia because I liked the software that came with it better.

Nice day for a white wetting. I got this Fender Stratocaster body (Made in Mexico) from an unscrupulous seller. The bolt holes where the neck attaches had a crack running all the way through it that was not disclosed in the ad. The price was okay, but it took some extra work to widen the crack without making it worse, and then getting some glue and clamping it. After sanding and smoothing it from the hack job finish removal, which the seller probably abandoned after discovering the crack, I'm ready to spray some primer. You can kind of see the crack at the top of this picture. After the refinishing is complete, it will look great once again. I'll probably have to spray a few coats of primer, sand it, then get a nice top coat that hopefully is lacquer (the local store was sold out) and then clear gloss to finish it out. It looks like this gal is already on her third coat of paint. We have white (which might be primer?), wine red, and midnight blue visible on the top side.

Would you hear a difference in the sound from a crack in a electric guitar body?

EllisD I don't think so. It was mainly a structural integrity issue to make sure the neck has a solid connection to the body on all four screws.

could crack again would be the concern. I tested it with the neck on and it seems stable. I think it's alder too, as are most. Alder left, ash right

I always do the back first so I can get warmed up spraying again since I don't do it very often. That way if I make a dumb mistake, it wont be the side everyone looks at. It still needs to be sanded smoother so I'll probably have to do another coat once I smooth it out.

Upgraded the electric recently and she's a beaut! Wasnt necessarily going for the hollowbody "trey" look but got a nice deal on this one and absolutely couldn't pass it up.
