Solid assessment, Venk. Shocked McKinnon is even still a part of it. I guess Ghostbusters didn't give her the cya moment she might have expected. And nothing against big women, but now they have that younger and less funny version of Aidy Bryant in the cast and it feels like there isn't enough room for both. I would have to think about how long Lorne has carried two plus sized ladies at one time. I like Beck Bennett a lot. Mikey Day and the other white dude are hit and miss. Mooney, the same. Beck Bennett is also super good. Kyle Mooney's movie Brigsby Bear was pretty good. The bloated cast size is never good. I feel like it would be best for a lot of the veterans at SNL to leave soon. |

Stand-up comics tend to do kind of poorly on SNL.
Adam Sandler is kind of an exception but he didn't really flourish on SNL.

Sandler didn't really kill it at standup either. Chris Rock probably did the best as far a specials and longevity goes.

Some hits and misses. I liked the Pennsylvania cop show. Not a Pete Davidson fan but the Chad skits usually deliver. |
