Gonna be a lot of overlapping songs. Someone should keep stats of all the songs played.

Gonna be a lot of overlapping songs. Someone should keep stats of all the songs played. they should just do a rotating stage and have like 3 sets from different bands play Good Lovin for 90 minutes

If I ever go to a Phish festival where all of the bands are offshoots and cover bands of Phish, please kill me I could probably deal with a weekend festival full of Dead offshoots and cover bands playing the same tunes, but I'd probably kill myself if it were a Phish related offshoot cover band fest. Maybe because of the songs. Dead songs to me are more open to interpretation by other bands whereas Phish songs are Phish songs and they seem (to me) to be less open to interpretation by others. You either do a straight cover, or what's the point?

If I ever go to a Phish festival where all of the bands are offshoots and cover bands of Phish, please kill me Doesn't this describe like 90% of "new exciting" jambands people get excited about? Jeez, I know I try to sample what I read about on here that is exciting people and I usually find myself within 10 minutes thinking,"Ahh, another dude doing a Trey build up impression, etc, etc..." but I digress and no offense intended. I get your overall point. And I agree with whoever said Phish's music just isn't built the same to interpret like the Dead.
