If I ever go to a Phish festival where all of the bands are offshoots and cover bands of Phish, please kill me I could probably deal with a weekend festival full of Dead offshoots and cover bands playing the same tunes, but I'd probably kill myself if it were a Phish related offshoot cover band fest. Maybe because of the songs. Dead songs to me are more open to interpretation by other bands whereas Phish songs are Phish songs and they seem (to me) to be less open to interpretation by others. You either do a straight cover, or what's the point? I agree Its why phish cover bands dont work |

The festival lost a lot of money last year and then sold non refundable tickets at a jacked up price, then canceled 10 days out.

Non-refundable has me thinking I can’t get my money back because a work project will prevent me from attending, not fuck you there is no festival now.
