Movin co we want to go with has rescheduled our estimate twice with very short notice
1 more strike and on we go from them
Prolly calling someone else tomorrow just to get another estimate before or after theirs
Also , hopefully no later than 9/4 on the close (per emails today) cross yo finguhz an yo toez

Only rich, military and corporate moves have moving people hire companies. Before I moved here I checked and they wanted $700 or so to move a bed 2 bookshelves and some boxes. I was moving into a less tham 400 sq ft apt.
My coworker and bf just bought a place and he had one more military move. They moved several thousand pounds and apparently he had more than they would cover.

Were goin with movers to not have to worry about aligning schedules , people who may or may not be worried about virus , etc...
Dont get me wrong hermosita and I will def be moving some boxes and smaller things
This is will be more a wham bam thank you mam of bigger things
Couple hundred bones is what well prolly be look in at between the couple companies weve narrowed it down too
And at this point, what the fugg is a couple more hundred (I'm not saying this in happy tone) but for real lol

I would totally hire movers, if it made sense. But like I said, a bed, 2 (IKEA) dressers and some boxes did not equal $700.

The problem probably comes down to the transportation. My dad has a pickup. Moving without a truck is tricky.

When I was a kid my parents hired a moving company to take our stuff to a house 9 numbers away on the same block. An 18 wheeler. They had it done in a day though. Come to think of it my dad might have had a hernia then but still we knew mad people in the church that could have helped out. They're frugal but when they spend they go all in...

I would recommending grabbing the guitars from bear and some useful stuff in the kitchen. Fuck the rest.
