Check with your mortgage company to make sure it goes towards the principal, but you can also pay 50-100 more than your payment each month to accomplish this goal. I did this for a few years until I started putting that extra money towards retirement.

^Yep, I make a principle only payment each month too. Just got notice that my monthly payment is going up by $108 starting in November. FUCK! Stupid taxes are being increased. It's going to cut into my ability to pay extra every month...

Paperwork shows THIS is the number were payin down, so I just want the monthly payment to make the THIS number as a whole go down and not only so much of what was paid to THIS and the rest is for THAT

Anyone have any idea of what would make a BOOM noise shake the whole house as if a door was slammed super hard or as if a car or tree fell on top of it?

Hermosita thinks it's something to do with gas. I told her , hun if it's that loud and related to gas wed prolly ne dead as the whole house woul blow up or into orbit

Could be the ductwork, sometimes when the air kicks on the pressure in the duct causes the aluminum duct to expand and make a loud sound.
Or your house is haunted...
