we closed on our place July 1st of 2019. A house down the street from ours, which is a little smaller is going for 100k more than what we paid for ours. Makes us excited for what the future may hold. Certainly nowhere near ready to sell now but looks good for the future.

Interest rates are supposed to go up an entire point next week. I believe we have hit a peak in this run of the housing market. We bought in 2014 and sold last may. I am praying to a god I don't even know that it works out. If not I am going to wook and then commit a crime in Denmark for the nice prisons.

Have you guys looked at real estate in Italy? I'm kinda curious how much a little shack in the hills goes for. Dirt cheap. You can get one for nothing if you agree to renovate/maintain it because there is a work shortage and birth shortage. But because of the way things "work" out here you get your estimates to fix up then place and the expect to pay double or triple that. There are a bunch of unfinished 3 story houses here because you pay taxes when the construction is complete and so folks just live in the two story and never pay... |
