Everything I've heard totally fails to impress me. Phish lite. Having seen them live, I think they're good, but i don't get all the hype. To me they just sound like a knock off of 90s phish which is why Trey loves them so much. To each their own though, I wouldn't travel to see them but i'd see them again in Chicago if the opportunity presented itself |

Nothing those bad does to me sounds like phish
They've got some sensualness to them in tunes and then other tunes just kind of generic jam band

Anyone that think this band sounds like phish Clearly does not listen enough or at all to phish Nothing those bad does to me sounds like phish They've got some sensualness to them in tunes and then other tunes just kind of generic jam band The video they released with their new drummer sounded like a phish jam imo. I'm not hating on their talent I just don't think they're doing anything that is special or innovative. All just my opinion though |

Geese jams stay in a stratosphere I really dig. Like old Phish did. New Phish is too pixelated and shardy for me right now. Maybe I just need Wings in my music diet right now.

I'd go see a band called Pixelated Shards, but there's a pretty good chance they wouldn't do it for me.
I recently gave Wings' 'Band On The Run (Underdubbed Mixes) a listen. Interesting, but not as good as the original with the dubs. Pretty sure it was just released to give people an idea of what Paul/Linda/Denney brought back from Lagos to do further work on. But maybe needing Wings in the music diet right now referred to birds wings as opposed to phish gills or Wings with a capital W?
Nothing of what I've heard from Goose so far has really done it for me, but maybe I just haven't heard the right show/album yet. Can't remember the most recent jamband (doing their own material - JRAD don't count) that's really frenched my fry. Maybe I'm at the age where I just like my jambands to be of a certain vintage and anything more contemporary that I like is just in other genres. I'm sure it's just me since other people apparently get Goose, even if I don't, so good for everyone in that flock.
