i think part of the hate for goose stems from their almost over night rise in popularity in the scene. almost as if people hate on them just to hate because they got big fast, so its the cool thing to do. its all fucking silly. music is subjective, and i'll listen to whatever i want. I feel like Billy Strings has had a similar trajectory in terms of seemingly overnight popularity and he doesn’t get the same flack. You nuts, big dick billy been on the grind for awhile, Goose , got silver spoons, then got trey to lift them to the moons |

My interest in goose fell off hard after a while. So many of their songs are too serious and boring. I'm not really seeing the phish comparison tho

I actually really enjoy the yacht rock lightness & vocal harmonies of Goose. It's good to listen to when I've been anxious, like looking at a picture of a beach. No bad vibes, just this cool ocean.

Next Saturday, we'll see if they can cook my goose! Wife hooked me up with Sirius xm. Been listening to the jam on station occasionally. Caught myself jamming to a Goose song. Had to turn off a few Goose songs too. But they have at least one tune I don't hate. I still cannot stop hating UM. They seem to suck all the way. |

A couple of weeks ago I was in the ER, not for me and everyone is ok. We had a lovely spot in the hall, next to a set of double doors. As we were waiting way too long, the bed on the other side of the door had a woman that may, or may not have been bitten by a bat. The supposed bite had happened at 5:00 am the day before while she was gardening. The story had holes in it. I was calling BS. …. But they were preparing to do rabies meds and had to give her a shot in the finger, which the tech was having a hard time figuring out where to do it and she got moved to a different area. Also the pharmacy tech came and needed a precise weight because it was really important in calculating the dose. |

They had Julian Lage sit in for a couple tunes recently. Being a huge fan of him I watched the video of the sit in, about 30 min, and it was the first time I found their music to be even mildly interesting. But really it was Julian’s playing, not their music
