Anyways, it deeply saddens me by what is going on in the world right now. As a man of peace, I am disgusted by countless violence over greed, land, and ideology.
In the west, I am obviously getting this ISIS thing reported from a western perspective. I am curious, how do moderate Muslim's feel about ISIS? Is there anything being done on a large scale? I understand if you do not feel comfortable answering these questions.
I also understand that the west is not always innocent..

And the ISIS thing... We are watching their violently acts in the news just like the people in the west. Paris massacre has affected and saddened me a lot actually. Not all the Turkish people are sad because of this massacre I will be honest with you. But I don't see them as human beings, really and I am ashamed of them. Before Paris, ISIS caused lots of humans to die in Beirut, and Ankara, the city that I live in. I am very sorry that western media didn't care much about the Ankara massacre which happened a month ago. Also thousands of innocent people die in Syria every single of day. Paris massacre was important according to me because this chaotic atmosphere in Middle East spreaded into the west now and it means that everyone in the world is in danger and feels themselves insecure. French government is responsible because of this massacre because they supported the terror in Syria for years in order to get their dirty benefits in there.

I don't know man. The muslims are in target now in the west and this is frustrating. Refugees will probably be sent to Syria which is a hell now, but again ISIS is the consequence of the radical Islam and muslims should criticize themselves.

KITCH: "First off, I think you'd be pleased to know that MANY Americans, including myself, have defended Islam and realized that extremism doesn't represent a whole religion.

But sadly, there of course, others who are blinded by all this and see your whole religion as evil.

I just looked it up and approx 1.7 billion in the world are Muslim. I know there are many, good peaceful Muslims (it seems like yourself is included in that). I also know there are bad Muslims. Just like I know there are good Christians and there are bad Christians. Good Hindus and bad Hindus. Etc Etc.

Also, worth noting, is many here have been spreading more awareness of all of the horrible things happening in the East because of this. It is true though-that it took this Paris event for people to start spreading this awareness. That is because the Paris thing is more of a Western event. But, I think you would be pleased to know that many here have been spreading the news of these other horrific things happening in the world. And many (myself included) are deeply saddened by this.

Also worth noting is many here would love to welcome Syrian refugees in with open arms, but the threat of ISIS slipping through the cracks has many concerned.

Being a peaceful westerner and a spiritual westerner, I do not understand the attack ISIS wants to make over here from my standpoint. I do understand though (as previously noted) that the West is not always innocent though and gets involved when it shouldn't. It is also my understanding that ISIS believes western culture is a disease? (correct me if I'm wrong).

I think as a peaceful westerner, watching this all evolve, it would be refreshing for Moderate Muslims to step up to ISIS. To let it be known to the rest of the world (mainly confused Westerners that this doesn't represent your whole religion. That you are a religion of peace not bloodshed.)

But obviously, you understand this more than I do. ISIS has threatened Washington and NYC (I live in New York state).

Anyways, I enjoy talking to you. I feel like we can learn something from each other. I send vibes for world peace and for people to stop fighting over IDEOLOGY and GREED and POWER.

When I see shots of Earth from space TURKISH FRIEND, I see a beautiful planet. I see something that is ONE and not divided. We are all one but we are all blinded by this because of ideology and evil people ruling the world...

TURKISH FRIEND: "I suppose we, Turkish people witnessed the process in the Middle East following each detail for years. I, personally believe that the intervention of U.S. to Iraq in 2003 has changed all the situation in Middle East. When Bush was gone and Obama was selected, U.S. army did not intervene in Iraq much anymore and after the destruction of Middle East the terror gained power because there was no powerful government there after the intervention of U.S.

The mentality of muslims should change. I don't believe Islam that they believe. If this is real Islam, I prefer not to be called muslim actually. I am human at first. And actually be aware of that there are HUGE differences between seculars and conservative muslims in Turkey. We are worried of what's going on, they are not.

Instead of plotting ways to kill poo, the 15-25% (or whatever the made up number of the day is) of the radical Muslims who want to kill not just poo, but all of us, would instead be connecting all those dots. Think of the economic boost. We could put every out work American to work manufacturing dots.
