We...we smile a little easier. We...we...share a little more.
For a couple of hours we are the people we always hoped we would be.
It's really a miracle because it happens every Christmas Eve.
And if you waste that miracle, you're gonna burn for it. I know.
You have to do something. You have to take a chance and get involved.
There are people that don't have enough to eat and who are cold.
You can go and greet these people.
Take an old blanket out to them or make a sandwich and say, "Here."
"l get it now."
And if you give, then it can happen, the miracle can happen to you.
Not just the poor and hungry, Everybody's gotta have this miracle!
It can happen tonight for you all!
If you believe in this pure thing,
the miracle will happen and you'll want it again tomorrow!
You won't say, "Christmas is once a year and it's a fraud." It's not!
It can happen every day! You've just got to want that feeling!
You'll want it every day! It can happen to you!
I believe in it now.
I believe it's gonna happen to me, now. I'm ready for it!
And it's great. It's a good feeling.
It's better than I've felt in a long time.
I'm ready.
Have a Merry Christmas. Everybody.

A number that can be supported by actual data obtained by sound statistical testing. I'm not looking to work backwards by picking a number that sounds good to me and then massaging the data to fit my pre-existing belief that between x and x+10 percent are radical Muslims. It's not about picking a number that sounds good out of the air and then basing an argument on this meaningless and false number. To me it's about being as honest and accurate as possible - not making shit up that your audience wants to hear. Since the video you linked made no mention of where this number was obtained, and since you made zero effort to cite the source or substantiate it any way I'm just going to have to continue to say I don't know.

No need to feel guilty for being white, poo. Did you see my post answering your being offended that immigrants aren't assimilating to your ways and want you to assimilate to their ways. Fuck assimilation. I'm a white American living in a Latin American country. I'm not going to assimilate to please others. I don't have white guilt. Anything on those numbers that sound made up until shown to be otherwise, or do you have nothing but snark to support your arguments. It's cool. I like snark. But I don't accept someone's argument based on their snark.

I have not watched the video that is being referenced, but I think statistics in general should always be questioned. There are many, many variables to take into consideration...especially when large-scale statistics are in play.

I have no idea if I agree with her numbers since she (or you) hasn't cited where they came from. Without knowing the accuracy of the numbers she bases her argument on, it's impossible to say whether her argument is valid or invalid. Simple logic and adherence to scientific testing principles. Do you also believe everything a politician tells you thinking that their points remain regardless of the validity of the information they use on which they base their arguments.
"We must put all pot smokers in jail because between 80-90% of all crime is committed by pot smokers"
Are you going to tell me that the point remains just because you don't agree with the 80-90% number used by the politician?

In regards to religious affiliation and its estimates, has anyone on here ever been asked what religious denomination they claim to be? Where do these #'s come from?
No one has ever asked me anything like that...

www.csmonitor.com/World/Security-Watch/terrorism-security/2015/0113/How-many-Muslim-extremists-are-there-Just-the-facts-pleaseThe radicals are estimated to be between 15 to 25 percent, according to all intelligence services around the world," she said, in part, when asked by an American University head-scarf wearing law student about waging an ideological war with Muslims. "You're looking at 180 million to 300 million people dedicated to the destruction of Western civilization," Gabriel added. Is this figure accurate? Not according to Angel Rabasa, who is a senior political scientist at the RAND corporation. While conducting research for a 2014 book he coauthored, "Euro Jihad," he found that Western European intelligence agencies estimated that less than one percent of the Muslim population living within their borders are at risk for becoming radicals. i had an editorial published in the CSM when i was in college

Poo, you make an accusation, it's on you to substantiate that accusation. Not me or anyone else to look into and try to prove your accusations. You think her numbers are accurate, you prove it. So far you haven't been able to.
Congratulations! You've crossed over into lolvolcano land. Make an accusation (7 WTC, to name one) and then tell everyone else to do their own research to prove his point. You should take that style of debate over to the 'Do you believe in ghosts?' or the '9/11' thread where the standards of logic, reason, rationality, and credibility are far lower for those who have problems with skeptics and rational thought.

OK let's look at it this way: Islam and western civilization are probably not capable of living in peace with one another. In the case that they are capable of at least co-existing on the same planet with each other they will always be in conflict and competition.
