And conservatives LOVE to claim that police are necessary in these situations where having actual mental health services COULD help. That way they get to do nothing and watch the world get worse then blame it on the libs.

I can't stand the ACAB narrative. People who want to put all law enforcement into one category are no better than people who will say all Russians are communists or all Muslims are terrorists. MAYBE the majority of law enforcements officers are power tripping bigot assholes but that doesn't mean they ALL are.
