Crazy doesn't pick occupations. Just saying. There are crazy people everywhere. Let's all be on guard and be ready to take appropriate actions. Half serious, half sarcastic. It's all sad, really. I understand what you're saying but people who work other occupations aren't protected on the same level. The media won't go out of their way not to state their occupation clearly "Law Enforcement employee" |

So this Tyre Nichols incident may be one of the most heinous of violent police murders yet, and I feel like, while its been widely covered and there has been demonstrations, the overall reaction has seemed relatively quiet compared to some of the bigger incidents over the past years since George Floyd.
I think we are not only exhausted to a large degree, but more than anything, I think we all have sort of lost hope that police will ever reform or be held accountable. Just something I had been thinking about.

I agree with this, and also hate to say, I feel the race/color of the cops has something to do with it Think if that was 5 white cops that did it, Memphis probably be burning to the ground |

I agree, I almost feel like this is the opportunity to get down to making this a police issue at its heart (it is, race contributes but its a police issue). It may be too early to tell.
