Oh yeah, heβs also expanding food stamps. Can we hold off on the bitching for just a little bit? Yeah, the "it's gotta be perfect or NOTHING" shit is getting exhausting.

Can we hold off on the bitching for just a little bit? not that i really care a ton about the whole political hulabaloo, but dems literally bitched every single day for the past 4 years about Trump. if someone wants to question what Biden's doing, i think its reasonable...

I'm hearing that Biden is already trying to welch on the $2000 checks. So predictable if true, just wtf. He's pushing to give $1,400 checks instead. If the democrats allow this to happen they are dumb af and will lose the house and senate if they go down this path -I thought that was always the deal...adds up to $2k when you add in your $600 check

They were pushing for $2K, but after only the $600 was approved, they said they would give $1,400. Why is that not clear?

Seems clear to me
I'd rather have them use that money to help people that are actually poor/ need it/ unemployed, but hey, I'll take it

Even after the $600 checks, Ossof, Warnock, and Biden all raged about "$2000" checks. I never heard a word from any of them during that runoff about $1,400 added to the 6, not one word.

www.mediaite.com/election-2020/a-betrayal-georgia-voters-enraged-after-democrats-promise-of-2000-checks-becomes-1400-under-biden-stimulus-plan/President-elect Joe Biden released his long-awaited stimulus proposal last Thursday that contained an inauspicious provision for millions of Americans expecting additional $2,000 stimulus checks. Instead of that long-promised amount, Bidenβs proposal only calls for an additional $1,400 stimulus payment. Georgia voters who recently delivered the Democratic Party control of the U.S. Senate by electing Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff say they feel betrayed, let down, and outraged at what NBC Peacock host Mehdi Hasan has termed βBidenβs first broken campaign promise.β Oscar Zaro voted for the Democratic Party slate during the recent Senate runoff election. He lives in Hiram, Georgia, just outside of Powder Springs. A Democratic voter in the typically red 14th Congressional District, which is currently represented by QAnon Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene, Zaro said that Georgians in the 14th were spurred on to vote more Democratic than usual this year due, in part, to the promise of β$2,000 checksβ by Warnock and Ossoff. βThe last few weeks heading towards the runoff election, especially after Trump endorsed the $2,000 payments, Warnock and Ossoff made it a point to endorse and exclusively say β$2,000 checks,'β he said. βA lot of the people in my district voted blue in the runoff for two main reasons: (1) Loeffler and Perdue denying us relief during COVID while profiting millions themselves; and (2) $2,000 checks.β There is more in this article...

But lots of people's lives weren't damn near the same and I really like or love some of those people. Oh for sure Iβm not downing anyone - and in general I feel for people with anxiety and all that and have plenty of close people that struggle - - but taking away the changes with covid, itβs just hard for me to see how anyoneβs lives changed that drastically with him in office. Not defending the dude trump sucks - but my life carried on
