I can’t even begin to understand any of it so therefore I have no opinion. I feel awful for both sides (their people, not leadership) and hope that one day all of this ends.

I think Hamas fired like 1800 rockets at Israel the other day...Aint no country gonna let that slide. At the same Palestine has grievances that have not been solved.
Barring the voice of God telepathically saying to both sides of all the people...'STAHP FIGHTING....'I AM ALL THE SAME GOD'. 'YOU DO NOT HONOR ME LIKE THIS' ...The people may not even listen then...because its also about land to live on and resources....both sides believe they have the right to the same land....and its holy...yada.

I've been seeing a lot of stories about Gen. Z vs. Milenials lately. Something like Milenials hate Boomers, Gen Z hates Milenials, Milenials don't understand the Gen. Z hate, and as usual, Gen. X is completely left out and no one gives a shit about them or what they think.
Somewhere in there sums up the Israel Palestinian situation.
As long as I've been aware of world events, there's been shit going on over there. All that changes is the intensity and tactics. I'm so old I remember when airline hijackings were the preffered method of the Palestinians, or people acting on their behalf. Times change, but the shit stays the same.
Ultimately, I'd say I'm team Palestine. Though reservedly so. Both sides likely have a lot of shit to answer for. But I do know if you corner an animal or make it so that people have nothing to lose, they'll react as expected.
Bibi's an asshole, and yeah, nice job Jared. Promises made, promises kept, all that bullshit.

Maybe the thread title should be changed from Palestine to Palestinians. Semantics, I know, but if there was an actual Palestine perhaps there'd be less fighting between the Israelis and the Palestinians, who don't have their country.

That's just the opinion I read in the article. The generation that was overlooked back then when they were young, and still is overlooked today. I kind of see the point. Almost every pop culture article I read on generations is about Milenials, Boomers, or Gen Z. Maybe it has to do with the fact that after the post-War Boomers (taken literally as "baby boom") the population of Gen X is small. Easier to ignore the relevance of those whose numbers are smaller. But whatever. I was just riffing on cosmicbanditos comment.
