Holy shit! 3000 casualties?! Does that mean actual deaths? It doesnt, it means injuries. 9 deaths at least though. I can't belive they got that many corrupted pagers on that many hezbolah peeps. Some injured have to be randos near a blast. Just a crazy operation.

Whether known by the US govt. or not, I wonder what the odds are that US taxpayer $ and/or US govt. intelligence were, to some extent, involved in Operation Exploding Pagers. Even if Israel kept this close to their chest, there's got to be a good chance that somewhere in this op US taxpayer $ was used.
