Weekend Update and the Please Don’t Destroy Guys are the highlights for me. I didn’t know anything about Cecily leaving until DVR’ing through it this morning. I had recorded the Dec 2020 show that came on a couple of hours before and that is now 9 people gone since that episode. It’s the same as it ever was for me and I mean the host usually dictates the level of enjoyment I have. Some people just shine on there. Mulaney comes to mind.

I'm pretty much at that level with SNL now.
James Austin Johnson is also a very funny dude and great impressionist.

There’s definitely still talent but there are noticeable gaps. I’ll never stop watching but they definitely need better hosts.

Yeah...
Jon Hamm hasn't hosted for a long time and he was easily one of the better hosts of the past few decades. I feel like they've taken a step down in the Colin Jost era.
