LolRams(ey) Jk, we are in the tear down years now... The Rams are literally the poster team for the sell out to win a title mentality. They went for it and won it, which is pretty unusual, but it's going to F them up for several years. The cap problems are bad enough but they burned so many draft picks too. Worth it for a ring though. Oh, I agree 110%. I have realistically low expectations for a bit. McVay can really run an offense but we're so thin defensively now it's going to be a track meet.

Rodgers is going to stay a packer for a while. Like a couple more weeks i honestly think they are waiting til June 1st to trade him. that way the can spread the cap hit over this year and next year and save themselves a little money this year. its fucking dumb though. the front office are the ones who bent over backwards for the dude, AFTER they drafted his heir apparent. they made this mess and now want to play hardball with the only team who is interested in Rodgers.

Lamar is a idiot, dude is just throwing away any opportunity he had to make any money. The guy in charge of the NFLPA is using Lamar as a pawn and it's sad to watch.
Just look at the rate of pay compared to Josh Allen.
Josh Allen = 5 years $85 million Lamar Jackson = 5 years $32.7 million
Lamar's stubbornness has already cost him tons of money that he will never get back. and now he's breaking rules by negotiating illegally. Just a shame for the Ravens and Lamar.

lamar is requesting a trade.
Rodgers and a 2nd rounder for him should get it done lol.

I think he will either go to Indy or Washington
Indy is probably trying to figure out if he's worth the 4th overall pic

i'm not familiar with how the tag effects a trade, but i think the ravens would still receive 2 1sts for lamar. so would be this years pick and next years if a team wants to pony up for him.
if he sits out this season because no one meets his guaranteed dollar amount he's asking for, then he's just driving down his own value for next offseason. sometimes you have to make concessions in negotiations, but he apparently doesn't understand that.

Lamar is young and it could be argued that he hasn't reached his ceiling. This isn't like L'veon Bell, I think there are multiple teams who would much rather have him as their starter this coming season. I bet he gets moved by/on draft day

i agree that teams should want him, but i don't think they want to pay for him. 2 1sts plus a massive contract is the starting price...
he wants a guaranteed contract similar to Deshaun Watson, even though he's claimed he doesn't want as much guaranteed. that only seems like lip service though, or else he probably would have agreed to the ravens offer already.
