Left side of o line was horrible
Right side not much better but, still better
That D if they can get cohesive will play better, now it's a bunch of front 7 goons who got paid some what with a more connected but pretty young secondary
Play calling was questionable at best...even with shotty line, there are ways to hit 5 yd crosses n outs to let them guys try to do something
The rookie RB looks good, best of the 3 I thought

Fields fumbl and INT were bad but i wouldn't say he was the problem per say. The defense couldn't stop a fart. Nothing Love did impressed me and told me he could be a future franchise qb in the league. Yeah he threw 3 TD's, he also overthrew a ton of his receivers and had that play where the tight end was wide open and should have walked the ball into the endzone but Love had an atrocious pass to him. While I wouldn't say Fields played well I also wouldn't say he played bad. Next week will be better

week 1 overreactions are the best gerg, that's what makes it fun. i just thought it was funny how you pivoted from your pre-seaon analysis of "the packers are trending towards being one of the worst teams in the league", to "its a shame the bears had to play the packers week 1". lol. its ok bro the bears future is bright, fields is likely is the guy, and if he's not they can grab a QB in a much better QB class this year. but fields wasn't the problem IMO, their o-line is still shit. packers d-line wrecked that game and were in the backfield a ton. I mean i'm not sold on Green Bay, but they have a more put together team than Chicago. Aaron Jones was probably the best player on the field most of the game. Love just didn't wow me and I find it funny some Packers fans are already saying he's the future HOFer next up guy. He played a team on defense where the majority of the starters, it was their first game in Chicago and first time playing together. It's very possible both teams end up in much different directions by the time they play eachother at the end of the season. Who knows though |
