Physically I'm completely falling apart and my beloved 13 year-old thinks I'm a tool.
But for some reason, mentally I'm rather "content" for lack of a better word.
Weird right? Have I actually "surrendered to the flow?" We'll see. Glad I can recognize it.
Some important conversations were had with Mom. Sober conversations. Probably has something to do with it.

No pay increase , but better schedule and actually doing something that will have real impact/results for the team and company

That Juice Force Objectively Terrible Imperial IPA 9.5 can last night had me feeling weird. Like when Michelle Pfeiffer was offered a ride by Tony Montana and the interior decor of the car looked like somebody’s nightmare. That’s kind of the same feeling as the Juice Force is what I imagine. I think I’d rather drink a Hawaiian Punch with a shot of gin in it. And of course a fat Tony line of blow taboot lol

Me n ricefam just finished up our Solar Eclipse Party and it was really awesome witnessing the moon biting into the sun and the bit grew and grew until the entire pizza pie was eaten and we didn’t see the entire Ring of Fire at this angle in hot ass Phoenix but it was pretty thrilling as my Spotify playlist for the eclipse played Lotus and Tool and Bowie and Bill Withers and we just chilled in the bed of the pickup in our driveway as people on walks we’re wondering wtf we were doing and Ladyrice got five pairs of the NASA approved dark out glasses and I would ask them if they wanted to see it and we had a loaner pair of the glasses and they were like “what the shit!?” it was pretty trippy as the neighborhood dogs stopped barking and all the birds stopped chirping and the shadows of the trees and parked cars on the block got all mystical and weird for awhile before life came back to normal.
This one was really awesome y’all! Way better than the 2017 one from this perspective. I’m glad Ladyrice got those glasses.

I think I might have brought home the wook flu, so I whipped up a little bowl of beef broth, carrots, garlic, turmeric, white and black pepper and rice noodles. Oh, there's fish sauce and a little soy. Wook flu be gone!  |
