I ran an uphill mile today in 9.5 minutes. That's not technically fast, but it's kinda fast for a short person!

If they can make it so your laptop can find your phone why the fuck can't the TV find the remote? Make it beep or vibrate or something. Goddammit. This kind of invention could get a person living on a tropical island kind of money and pay other people to maintain your boat/yacht.

I feel like the thing to do is take the trade skills and learn how to do it on boats. Live in the islands and work on rich people's yachts. They leave them all over the place to get serviced in the offseason. I guess the downside would be you might have to be there during hurricane season. Legs' cousin is a boat inspector (think home inspector) based in St Thomas. He and his wife and kids live the life yeah they are called marine surveyors. I've watched a couple videos with guys showing what to look for on used boats. Not sure how you get into that field or what the liabilities are.

Technically, a survey is what you do before you buy a boat and inspection is what you do before you take it out on the water.

Right on. He was a ship captain for years on different people's yachts. I think he got tired of that

Ex gf had an uncle that did electrical work on boats and was also a really good fisherman. He had rich guys who would take him to offshore tournaments, pay the entrance fees and fuel and all that and take a cut of the prize money if he won, which he had done a few times I guess. He lived in OC and took us out fishing one time.

Change of seasons finally hit. Second of four or five projected days of cold and rain. We're pulling the heavy alpaca blanket down from the closest tonight so hopefully that triggers some kind of Indian Summer.

While I was in the city yesterday I saw where someone spray-painted a on a wall (in English) saying either "Be gay. Do crime," or "Do crime, be gay." Can't remember which but pretty sure it was the first.
