Used to be a Dodgers Fan, looks like I'm back for this series
And be that as it could may/be, chron...this is the series WE all wanted to see.
And they are/were the best 2 teams in baseball for most of the year

I think this is how it's supposed to work out every year, but there are injuries and whatnot that skew the results

Is what it is. Speculation aside, both teams had good seasons and played a couple series' just like everybody else. This is why certain teams go all in. That said Im rooting for the Dodgers. I like Mookie.

That's how it is in every sports league... the franchises with the most monet buy the best players they think they can get To a certain extent, yes, but most other leagues (at least in the US) have salary caps correct. baseball is the only one of the 4 major sports leagues without a salary cap. and how they still don't have a cap is one of the most idiotic things ever when you're a running a league under the guise of "fairness". and this is why baseball has fallen out of favor for me personally, among other reasons like Manfred not having the balls to punish the astros. so yes that's how it is in other leagues, but its not the unabated spending you can see in baseball i.e. how the dodgers spent a billion dollars in one offseason on contracts. and i know hokie is chomping at the bit to say but that's not their AAV or whatever. the fact remains total value of contracts last offseason was a billion plus, so save it. |

Seems the two biggest teams with players and money making it is not lost on any baseball fan.
It doesn't always work out like this but this year with judge and ohtani contracts it seemed very likely. Now here it is.
I'm OK with it but it doesn't feel right
