Had to take the day off work... On my way home last night my eye started getting really irritated and watery and light sensitive... I think I scratched my cornea somehow. Going to the eye doctor in a bit. Kind of freaking out since I plan on driving 6 hours tomorrow... bout the rock the fest like a Bucc! Eye patch it up

Lol, it's the driving there part that I'm most concerned about. It is feeling a little better today than it did last night... We've all slept and driven with one eye open, gripping a pillow.or.steering wheel tight

Home Sweet Home
My buddies and I used to jump off the Grand Island Bridge. Not the middle of course but we'd try to see how far out we could get without dying.
And we'd swim in the lower river maybe a couple hundred yards away from the brink at a place called Butterfly Rock.
We should have died dozens of times. Seriously

F'in psychos
"Once you reach the trail at the bottom you can turn left and hike towards the giant whirlpool and the rapids or turn right and walk to Devils Hole. Just upstream of the whirlpool there is easy access to what locals refer to as “butterfly rock”. This is a beautiful spot to rest and soak up the scenery! On a scale of 1 to 5 this hike is a 2 in difficulty."

Lil dude wanted to do the cave tour and all that other cool stuff , we had other things on the agenda , however next time we go we're goin for the shebang
Are there any cool swimming places up that way?
Sad news Fantasy Island is currently closed (think it has been a few years now) we were able to get wee ones there once which is cool
On the drive home, the Ferris wheel was lit up, cool, eerie, and sadat the same time

Corneal infection... Not pink eye.
The doctor prescribed some antibiotic drops and I have to go back tomorrow afternoon to make sure it's getting better...fuck. Appointment at 110, was hoping to be on the road by noon...
Said they'll prob give me steroid drops tomorrow if the antibiotic drops are working.
No contacts all weekend... Fuck. I got some clip on sunglasses for my glasses... They don't look too bad I guess

Cornmeal infection?!
Og cornmeal with Allie playing a reunion show at shoe fest in a couple weeks. I'll be hanging in Tennessee but man, that would bring back memories. Maybe they will do some Midwest dates, stl, Chicago and a few between and nearby old regional spots.

My bad leg is acting up today and it's adding to my anxiety. I'm hoping I can still work out. I really need something to go my way.

I bought a sizer of wicked weed, opened one while I'm waiting for takeout and the drink by date is 6/30. I think I'm taking it back. If it was a ten dollar six pack I'd probably let it slide but it's like 17 with tax.

I would, especially if its an IPA. the drink by was probably 90 days now another 45. it wont taste like its intended to. I don't know why stores/distributors are more on top of this. Should have put it on fire sale 6/15 or 6/20 then everyone wins. This way you're just dissapointed.

I changed my mind. Partly because I didn't want to tell her that I was drinking one in my car and partly because she's the sweetest lady ever and I felt bad bothering her about it. It doesn't taste as intended, but it's not terrible. I'll tell her next time I'm there and ask if I can open the box before I pay. It's honestly kinda shady that breweries can put the date on the can inside the box where you can't see it.
