Home made carnitas. Slow cooked the pork in the crock pot and then crisped on the griddle. The Tortillas come from the tortaria right here in town you go in and order tortillas and they make them while you wait.  |

I make tacos like everyday for bfast and lunch, well 2 small soft white corn tortilla tacos for each meal.
tortilla topped with chopped tomato, bell pepper, mushroom, black beans, green onions, cumin, garlic, chili pawder, paprika and mozz, throw that on the pizzaz to meld it all together(tortilla stays moldable) and throw some fresh spinach in when ready to eat
so good, can do it with more pizza centered ingredients too.

^^that doesn't make it a taco? hahaha. Its treetop food, no one eats the shit I eat, no one wants to eat the shot I eat, lol. I don't use salt or sauce and things like that so my food is not too terribly palatable to most folks, I have a pretty unrefined taste so its easy for me to keep it simple. This is by far the most involved I get with spices, hahaha

I don't think I had a real taco till I moved out West. Back in the day, there were tons of Puerto Ricans, Domincans, etc. in NY, but no sizable Mexican population. Tacos from Jack in the Box was the closest I'd ever had. Fucking sad.
