I wanted to start keeping bees but just can't do it where I'm living. One of these days when I'm living elsewhere I'll get back into it. Until then.....there's always tacos.

I always come up with these great plans. Of course I have no way to actually follow through. I started talking about the taco place and I kept going. Ex and I had a lot of in depth conversations about how this was going to go down. I know I've talked about it on here before. Of course now there's a taco stand on every corner.
The name of my bees was going to be U.S.Bees
There was another good name I can't remember. I also have a great name for my weed store.

My boyfriend's grandparents had a hive that was in a dormer of their house. His uncle came over to help the guy remove it (and rehome the bees) and became infatuated with the whole process. Since then, he's got his own hive and has built hives in 4 other family member's backyards. It's pretty cool.

Helped out with bees when I lived on some acreage in Oregon, but no yard here and can't keep them on the roof of my five story building. Too windy, too dry, neighbors.... I liked the connection with the hive and helping to keep it healthy.

The trick is not looking at it, I think. The lengua at the place here in town cubes it and you can see veins and stuff. My gma used to use beef tongue to make vegetable beef soup when I was a kid. Yum.
Now I want some tacos...
