Rail trail ride in between dropping kids off and work this morning. 19 miles, 1 hour 8 minutes, average 16.7 mph. On the single speed. Not sure if that is a great time but it's my personal fastest. Shaving off that 8 minutes is going to be a project.

Big ride today. Might try to go for another tomorrow. Heat was kicking my ass at the end.

I know two people who rode the unbound 200 gravel race today and both of them had a good ride and I'm stoked for them.

i went out mountain biking w my friend again friday. we did a different more technical trail our average speed was 4.5 mph. i am sore as heck. But it was fun! Glad your getting some dirt under your tires. We did 15.5 on a new trail tbe other day and there was enough climbing I had to stop and catch my breath a few times. Which is rare for me. Pedal up and haul as back down over and over. Whoever designed the trail did a great job of taking advantage of the terrain. cramba.org/trails/holly-holdridge-mountain-bike-trailWent out this morning. Nice cool misty weather. Rode the big dummy and linked a few trails together for around 35 miles total. Ended up getting poured on for the last 7 or so. No biggie. Needed a shower before work either way.

Make sure you choose one with at tapered head tube, thru axels instead of quick release and has a dropper post or is compatible. Then if you should want to upgrade later or break something you will have the newer tech.

I had an awesome ride with my homie prior bike club social hour at the farm brewery. The old guys from the bike shop were regaling us with stories from the good old days. It was really fun. Plus I grabbed a strava KOM! Out of 664 guys!

It's National Donut Day, so we are riding to Brewnuts for donuts & beer.

I downloaded strava. The only time I've remembered to use it I apparently didn't even hit the start button. Might pay for a membership if I can start remembering to use the free one.

It's never the ones you want to see naked that do those things

My friend was a photographer for the naked bike ride when they had one here. It looked like mostly just dudes in mankinis.

Most people, regardless of genitalia, want a barrier between the business & the bike seat lol

I would probably laugh out loud if I saw naked people, wearing helmets riding bicycles

If I did a nekkid ride, I'd put a picture of my husband's face on my bike seat

I think I might need to get new tires by the end of the summer. How do I tell when it's time?

One week from starting the ride across the state with the kids. Extremely underpracticed. Haven't had the time and every time the wife has a chance she has been taking them camping. Going to be a hell of a workout. Especially for my boy. Oldest daughter rides enough she should do alright. Youngest will hop on my bike anytime things get tough.
