I'm upgrading to a leather slip mat, though. The felt is way too staticy. I think it is part of my issue. The dbt discs stick to it everytime and I have to pry it off as I lift it off the table. I'm going to upgrade the stylus too. Been learning a lot over the past few weeks. This is fun.

Bought this at the record store last night. The vinyl looks great, but it repeats in a couple spots on the first side. Checking the second side out. It sounds pretty good, but is a little noisy during quiet parts and fades. That could also be my stylus/system.  |

Wife got me the Radiohead “Kid A Mnesia” record for my bday and I spun that today. Definitely a cool addition to any Radiohead fan’s collection
Just cued up “Sex & Food” by Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Great record

Bought this two weeks ago today while drinking at the bar. It's the 2016 and it sounds awesome. The highs might be a little high, but I'm listening to it flat the first time. I think that's just how they wanted it. I hadn't listened to this album in a long time. Awesome.  |

Oof. This one is wavy and concave. It was also super fucking statically charged and was actually a challenge to pull out of the paper sleeve. Lots of paper shards and static. Second time now I've experienced static with the two tone swirl. I'm bummed to admit that I'm also disappointed with the pressing. It just seems sort of lifeless compared to most of the other discs lately. Oh well. It's not bad at all. I'll clean it.  |
