Damn it. I was going to take it easy at the store today. I had to buy this. More than I'd have liked to spend, but they start at $100 on discogs and I love this album. It sounds absolutely fantastic. You can hear things that you don't hear on the cd or spotify and it's more dynamic. 2013 pressing. Fuck yeah.  |

I've only been to the record store a few times this summer. There are albums upstairs that I haven't even broke the seal on, yet. I picked up a 1975 pressing of Dark Side of the Moon yesterday. Let's do this.

Oh hell yeah. I also picked up Justin Townes Earle - Kids In The Street. I love this album. The vinyl sounds awesome.

This is probably my favorite bluegrass album. I bought the cd at a truck stop a long time ago. A while back I decided that I had to have the vinyl and pulled a lerner. $10. I'm listening to it for the first time. The wax looks rough, but it sounds pretty good considering. Great addition.  |

Just purchased a David Byrne Live from texas on vinyl. It's a phenomenal show you can find on YT and it's on spotify. He does an amazing cover of I wanna Dance with Somebody, one of my all time favorite covers. can't wait to get it!

I have two copies of Liberace's "A Brand New Me" I was gonna say something snarky with a backhanded compliment, like 'That's two more copies than anyone who's not female and over 105 years have - maybe you're onto something the rest of us have yet to discover,' but then I Googled the album and now I'm saying it without the snark - though still wondering 'why two copies?' Interesting choice of (then) contemporary covers. How is it? |
