Damn. The second side of this Remain In Light is noisy. I need to get a spin and clean or something like that. White vinyl also seems to be more prone to static. That has been my experience at least.

I like it when I find older albums I didn't know about or heard before. This is really clean and looks great, but has a little surface noise. It's 46 years old, so I'm happy. I ordered a wet cleaning kit.   |

I was told to stop buying albums until after Christmas. I might have bought a few kglw off amazon and there is a good chance I'm getting one of them as a gift too. The fomo... I also grabbed two copies of Changes at the record store. He had two different covers and they are already sold out on grizzverse, so I bought both of them. I have a problem.

I'm still going to the store after work. I bought a couple of the newer pressings of Zappa. Over-Nite Sensation (2013 pressing) and Apostrophe (2014 pressing). They both sound fantastic and I want to see if there are anymore of the newer ones.

Record store guy posted a pic of a pair of cerwin vegas that are going on the floor today. He plays guitar and has a few things for sale, so I'm going to take in a few pedals and see if we can work out a trade or partial trade.

The shop had a couple of these and I picked up the first pressing gatefold as a gift for the lady. I had never heard of this and she is a huge stevie nicks/fleetwood mac fan. Sounds great and the tunes are great too. Analog goodness.  |
