I wish that I had known what was up when you could still get a klon ktr for under $300. Over the past few months they have dried up. A guy on reverb has 4 of them, each listed at $599. I should have been on top of this. I know I said I didn't need one, but...

The Kpad has 1/4 mic/line input you can plug the guitar into.
In my experience the kaoss pad has to be played like an instrument to be useful. Guitars require 2 hands to play so it's hard to take advantage of the motion capabilities of the pad without a 3rd hand.
I duct taped a mini kaoss pad to my guitar once, but didnt like it. Guitar effects need to be controlled by feet.
