Bro's Im going to come clean. I saw a chili recipe on facebook where this guy put his chili base together (Beans, v8 juice, and all that jazz) and put it on the bottom grill grate of his pellet smoker. Above that he constructed a bomb looking meatloaf and smoked it on the top grate right above the chili mixture. Smoked for a couple few hours and pulled apart that meatloaf into his chili. It looked like an award winner.

Some people might not want to wait for the joy that comes after eating the chili when they're on the toilet and just get right to it.
I could see how boofing the pineapple (whole?) first could give you that sweet and heat contrast that combines so nicely on the palate.

Well, the good recipe was taken from a youtube video of the one I posted in the other thread. The one in our book is a different simple recipe. This is the one that is way better when we used an assortment of chiles.

My mom always made elbow macaroni to put the chili on top of...I always do the same.
I guess it's reminiscent of Cincinnati chili?

Around here some people make a watered down somewhat chili like substance with elbow macaroni and call it goulash. The flavor is usually more tomato based than chili is. Not the worst stuff ever but not as good as chili by a long shot. When I was younger I assumed it was a way of using leftovers but it turns out people make it intentionally too.

My grandma made goulash and I loved it and would kill to know exactly how she made it. Yes, it was simple and basic, but it was one of my favorites as a kid.
