I watched some show about engineering disasters that went over the Minnesota bridge collapse 15 years ago. Shit was scary about how many existing deficiencies there were not only on that bridge but all over the Country. We haven't done a whole lot about it in the years since.

I thought it was good. Short and to the point.
Always interesting to see what issues the other side is cool with and what they oppose. I guess Republicans don’t care about lead pipes haha
Though I cringe every time he trips over a word or something. Not because it bothers me but I feel bad and know people are goi g to use that against him.

It was fine, but it's all just window dressing. The President doesn't have very many options if he doesn't have the numbers behind him to enact legislation. We are at a point now where literally anything that comes out of his mouth is an instant no from R's and I don't think he has any chance of moving Sinema or Manchin off of their obstructionist stances because they are making money by being obstructionists. Shit will just be terrible as usual, we will elect some awful Republican in three years and watch them set everything on fire, rinse and repeat. Congress is broken beyond comprehension and I don't see how that's going to change any time soon.

He'll do Exec Orders in the fall, closer to the election. If he does stuff now, people will forget.
The correct answer is to elect more progressives/Dems. That's the only way shit will get done. Unfortunately the exact opposite is going to happen.

Biden had better do something, anything, and quickly imo. He is losing the base of the Democratic party due to inaction and outright lies in the form of campaign promises. The crazy ass Republicans have tons of energy and the democrats are going have nothing to run on in the midterms.
