Had an allergy scare at that market too..
Raisinette ordered pad thai but it had fish sauce unlike what she usually gets stateside. She took a few bites and I was like holup why does it smell like that... luckily she did not have a significant reaction from just a few bites. So, she got a banh mi style sandwich with crispy skin pork belly and fresh pickled carrots on what I think was brioche that was most excellent, but I didnt get a pic. We had an epi pen standing by of course just in case. The adventure continues...

  Italian breakfast: cappuccino and cornetto. The plain one on the left has a light sugar glaze on top making it a little different from the classic French and Austrian versions. The one on the right is topped with powdered sugar and filled with nutella! Whole case in the shop is below. So good we had it two days in a row. |
