Re: hot dog sandwiches - I didnt ask because my Italian is malo... they dont have mustard anyways. Almost forget this gem. Italian ice cream sandwich Gelato on brioche. People get this for breakfast and it's a regular thing

is gelato more of an ice cream or a pudding ? its definitely like a type of ice cream but it is creamier/fattier for one like the difference between 1% and whole milk. Also the legit stuff is made with lots of real fruit, nuts, etc and doesn't have any food coloring or fake stuff. Just woke up and there is a rumbling in the distance like thunder. It's the volcano! Airports closed, we're italian now, not coming home.

I'm getting the pistachio gelato they have in the lobby at Caeser's when I get there for Phish. It's great. Probably not Sicily great, but New Jersey great.

So I just learned that Stromboli is an island off the coast of Sicily where thereβs a Mt. Stromboli and Strombolian activity is a term used for violent eruption like that from said volcano.
I feel like anyone who has eaten a Stromboli or calzone can attest to the interior being like lava if its not cooled.
