All jokes aside, chorizo and pineapple sounds like fantastic hot dog toppings. I just want to be clear, Are you suggesting that I should top my hot dog with a sausage? Like a double decker dog? We could call it a swordfight dog. Am I suggesting ground sausage crumbled and browned? Yes I am.

Fried prawns and sweet chili sauce Frog legs and snails because Paris These are awesome. Like mussels or clams in garlic butter Sea bass ceviche with fruits and lemon sorbet Lamb Jumbo skrimp risotto w crispy parmesan garnish Stinky cheese is on the dessert menu! Camembert, goat cheese, comte, and some other one i forgot. Not pictured: wine marinated slow cooked rooster stew ( coq a vin) and noodles.

Fried frog legs entree (the French use entree for what we call starters or appetizers) Escargot in red wine sauce (burgundy gravy?) Chicken with morel mushrooms and mashed taters (bad picture) Frog legs dinner Beef tartare. I was a bit timid about this but it was excellent and gave me zero indigestion The only thing left for me on FKT Paris bingo is creme brulee and foie gras Panini got a frog burger and i let her take the picture but you can only see the bun 😅

Did you try aligot or moules frites? I would lose my mind eating French cheese.

Iberian ham, Portuguese salami? Fried cod (under the peppers) Baked cod Lisbon steak; ham topped with egg I took this as a Portuguese dish styled like French in the sense that it was cheese topped bread in broth a la onion soup but it was a real sandwich with steak, two types of sausages, and ham.

I really enjoy all the food pics. thank you I was beginning to think I was getting repetitive. I almost got another cheese plate for brunch but then our friends pinged us so we waited and went to the Mauritius joint

Hot chocolate at the rendezvous point before Le Mauritius. They give you a cup of melted chocolate and a mug of hot milk to mix. Flavored rum for 5€. We got the Hot pepper and cinnamon. Everything about this meal was absolutely incredible and there wasn't a single that that didn't have maximum flavor. Cod hush puppies. I could eat dozens of these. Boudin (not Nola style, blood sausage-ish) Spiced meat dumplings eggplant Octopus rougaille Beef rougaille Grilled beef skewer Beef something? Langouste. I could nosh this place every day and never get tired of it. That's all for now. I'll be back home tomorrow and I have a date with the neighborhood wood fired pizza oven by the pool.

Hell yeah. Communal pizza oven! I think we cranked out at least 20 personal pies. Threw some habañeros on the last few. I never knew how much I was missing spicy food until we hit that spot yesterday
