 Fresh pitas  Minced lamb "pie" with potatoes and cheese inside. Tied up with a green onion.  Lamb chops  Lamb leg on bulgur  Homemade ice cream. This restaurant is at the oldest inn in Romania built in 1808. |

I've probably said this before but I definitely live vicariously through you...I think frequently how cool it is that you moved over there and are making the most of it... That's a leap I would love (I think) but would be terrified to make

 Snack in the park. Fries, bitterballen, fried cheese, spring rolls, hummus  Dutch apple pie. Crazy good. Dense cake-like crust.  Wow look at all the cheese aging on the wall!  It was all fake. Plastic decorations. #ripoff  Cheese tasting was excellent though. Cumin (classic Dutch flavor apparently), garlic and herb, pesto (green cheese under the cracker), gouda, aged goat, and hard aged sheep's cheese like a parmesan |

Wifeys pick. She has impeccable taste (see: me).  App  Fried polenta with taragna cheese, marinated pumpkin, Cantabrian anchovy filet, white onion in saor, and caper mayo  House lasagna only on Sundays  Brodo in broth, greens, hot pepper, roe, limon. This was a perfect dish. Incredible, balanced, flavors that just roll around in your mouth.  Another perfect dish. Iberian Brado with a potato thing. Unreal flavor. If meat was a dessert this would be it. Forget Pisa, forget Florence, skip it and just go to Bologna. An incredible city. |

The above restaurant Trattoria Da Me Nella Torre (From Me in the Tower) is probably the best food I've ever had. Complex flavors, perfect portions, that's my #1 pick so far in Europe. If you could only go to one place then this is it. Last meal type ish.
