It's the squiggly lines underneath that really make it for me, and they're under correctly spelled English words like cheese which means it was done in the Italian version of the software.

Homemade perogis from a Polish cook! Stuffed with potatoes and cheese, spinach puree, sauerkraut, and a very uniquely spiced minced meat that is unlike anything I've had before. Sausage topped with sautéed cabbage Wash it down with a premium cartoon beer from Lidl Dessert. Super good like a Ringling Bros animal cracker but better

Bratislava, Slovakia The fruit wine here is incredible. We had carafes of Black Currant wine and Cherry wine which are dangerously delicious. They taste like juice and have the perfect level of sweetness - not too much. Oštiepok (smoked sheep cheese), Eidam, Encián (Camembert cheese), Bryndza sheep cheese spread
Dumplings in sheep cheese topped with Vienna style onion rings
Dumplings with smoked sausage. Traditional cuisine and these dumplings are the official national dish. The cheese makes it pretty tangy. I will post more about yesterday when I can write it up, I did not take lots of pictures due to being a guest in someone's home and was treated to exquisite hospitality by a very generous person who never met me before.

Basically, Slovakia rules. Beautiful countryside, friendly cities, and it is by far the least expensive destination I've been to. I got a dank ass breakfast in a small city of 50k people for less than 6 bucks. Espresso, rolls, and a bacon, ham and cheese omelet. Things were very reasonable in the capital too, like half or a third of other countries for meals. I used hotel points to get a room, and it was more than 5 times as many points if I were to cross the border into Vienna, Austria like 20km away. I would come back here in a instant.

When I got here, through friends, I was able to do a very small amount of work in the morning in exchange for a bed each night. I cleaned a very small stable and then hauled the manure away in a wheelbarrow to the compost pile. We fed the animals. It took 30 minutes at the most. Then later I took some corn down the hill in the afternoon as a lure and brought the sheep and goats back to the stable. It wasn't even really work - just fresh mountain air, walking around, and holding a bucket. But, before all that they threw down for me. It's a small town and my friend said this is my bud from back home and we haven't seen eachother in years so I was treated to a 5 course meal at this other neighbors house as soon as I got into town. They had cheese plates, salami, venison sausage, mozzarella balls, veggie platter, bread, boiled eggs, and the whole cured pig's leg was on display on the table for anyone to slice off a bite. Then home made lentil soup. Local plum liquor. And in case that wasn't enough there was potato cabbage soup. And then more shots. Then pasta bolognese. Then the fatties were twisted. Then espresso. Then his wife whipped up potato cakes stuffed with sauerkraut. Then scotch. Then, we were politely told to leave haha. It was fucking awesome. Unbelievable hospitality and then they let us know okay we must stop hosting because it is Thursday and late - all without being rude. Never have I been treated so generously by a stranger and his family. All that and I also was fed by the farmer I stayed with too. Homemade strudel, meat and cabbage soup, and I made American style scrambled eggs one day whipped with raw milk because apparently that's not a thing out here and we had to show em how we do. I ❤ 🇸🇰
