I want the Garganelli pasta but sans veal. That pasta shape looks like it would be amazing for soaking up sauce. Inside the tube and in all the ridges.

 Pasta classy. For real, it was in this lady's backyard. They are running a vineyard and also have 1200 olive trees. The olives were introduced to the region 500 years ago by John Medeski, Billy Martin, and Chris Wood.   Ravioli and tortelloni (larger tortellini with a northern crimp) ricotta, parm, lemon zest filling  Foccaccia while we work  Cocao raviole with Nutella mascarpone filling  The host cooked em and sauced em. Sage butter sauce ravioli  Cacio e pepe tortelloni  Pici with tomato sauce. This is our pathetic version of the dank one from last night.   Bonus medieval village checkpoint unlocked |

 Spaghetti with garlic oil tomato and basil  Zucchini risotto  Pasta alla ragu  This is it right here. Grand campione best pasta ever. Gnocchi with cheese and truffle oil. Still bubbling when they serve it.  Florentine steak. We also got wild boar sausage and assorted meats as an app but I forgot to snap a pic. |

Back home. More soon. Firenze and Tuscany were awesome but also I see why they hate tourists. Hella Americans everywhere in the summer - especially Pisa because it's a small city and is basically the last stop on the west coast before people go to the airport. It's like Europe's photo booth with a thousand people posing for the same pic every 15 minutes. Lucca is a gem though. Check out their concerts coming up  We had to catch our flight before KISS! Ugh |

This was at a family kitchen so it wasn't fancy but authentic like how grandma would make it Eggplant Swordfish pasta with a mint sprig  Cream sauce and cheese  Lasagna di mare (mussels, squid)  Pesto and tomato  Tuna, Swordfish, prawn, squid  One of the kids thought it would be hilarious to order the "Pizza McDonald's" on the menu... fries and hot dog... |
